Murray 2 Visitors Centre

Murray 2 Power Station is the third largest power station in the Snowy Mountains Scheme. There are 4 turbines at Murray 2 , each capable of producing enough electricity to supply over 130,000 houses.

Next to the power station is the Murray 2 Visitors Centre. This centre offers an exciting interactive experience with a wide range of displays, “hands on” models and exhibits.

There are BBQ and picnic areas by the water that are open to the public. Light refreshments are available in the Cafe.

Open:  Summer (October - April), 7 days

9:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
10:00am - 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays

Closed Christmas Day and Anzac Day
Power Station Inspections 11.00am and 2.00pm

Open:  Winter (May - September), 5 days
9:00 - 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Closed winter weekends. Power Station Inspections 11.00am and 2.00pm
